Online Training on “Cyber Parenting" (DIKSHA Portal)
Media literacy equips individuals with the skills to identify credible information and avoid misinformation. As media plays a crucial role in our daily lives, many struggle with discerning accurate information from falsehoods and understanding media's influence on their opinions. By exploring media literacy concepts and real-world examples, people can enhance their ability to critically assess information. In modern education, media literacy is an essential component that cannot be overlooked.
CIET-NCERT will conduct a 5-hour online training series on "Cyber Parenting" in September 2024. The English version will be held from August 19th to 23rd, and the Hindi version will take place from September 2nd to 6th. Both sessions are scheduled from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

This training is open to students, teachers, teacher educators, parents, administrators, and other members of the public.
Steps to Participate

Step 2 : Watch the YouTube session from 05-09 August, 2024 from 4.00 pm - 5.00 pm
Step 3 : Take up the online course, participate in post assessment and get certified
If you are interested to earn a certificate, you need to do the following:
- Join the online course that will be launched on DIKSHA portal.
- This course will be open till 30 March, 2025.
- Take up the final assessment in the course. You can attempt the assessment thrice.
- If you score 70% and above in the final assessment, you will get a certificate. You can access their certificate in your DIKSHA profile page itself. It may take 15-20 days to receive the certificate.
