Structured Assessment For Analyzing Learning (SAFAL)
is a competency-based assessment introduced by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in India. It is designed to assess the progress of foundational skills and basic learning outcomes/competencies among students in Grades 3, 5, and 8.


The Ministry of Education (MOE) has launched several programs to foster a culture of ideation, innovation, and entrepreneurship in schools. These initiatives include the School Innovation Council (SIC), School Innovation Ambassador Training Program (SIATP), Design Thinking and Innovation Skill courses for grades 6-12, and the release of the National Policy for Promoting Innovations in Schools. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has introduced the Online Affiliated Schools Information System (OASIS), a web-based platform in India designed to centralize the storage and management of documents, data, and information submitted by affiliated schools. This system plays a crucial role in supporting CBSE's academic, examination, and training functions, making it mandatory for affiliated schools to annually update their information. This ensures more efficient and timely planning of academic activities, examinations, and training initiatives.


The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has launched the Integrated Payment System (IPS), a web-based platform designed for the automatic calculation and direct bank transfers of honorarium and TA/DA to the designated recipients. This system, employed by CBSE for diverse academic, examination, and training needs, has revolutionized a once manual and time-consuming process into a highly efficient and error-free digital system. 


The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has established 16 Centres of Excellence (CoE) across India to provide continuous professional development (CPD) and in-service training to teachers in all affiliated schools . These centers focus on both generic and subject-specific training.
